A place to talk about your favourite shows, what you're watching at the moment etc. etc.

Anybody watch a show called "Bones"? I heard it's kinda reminiscent of The X-Files and I just happened to watch an episode of it for the first time a couple of days ago which happened to be directed by David Duchovny (how spooky is that) and I thought it was pretty good. I ordered the first season DVD set and I'm hoping I haven't wasted my money.

At the moment I'm going through season 5 of 24 on DVD, and eagerly awaiting the start of season 6.

I'm a big TV fan, much moreso then movies, so here's just a few of the shows I really love, and am watching at the moment.

24
Lost
Stargate Atlantis/Stargate SG-1
Prison Break
Scrubs
Day Break (why has this been cancelled?)
South Park
The X-Files
Fraiser
The Simpsons (so shit now though)
Top Gear
Father Ted

Some old, some current, and a few others I'd glance at but not really watch consistently (Law and Order, ER etc). Some other shows I'd love to check out but haven't had the time are "The Sheild", "The Unit" and "The Wire". One day .

What about you?

Theres only one programme i watch/tape or whatever when its on and thats eastenders.

I do watch others, 24 and ER are definite faves both starting again soon, i'm just trying to think when both start cos i've seen them advertised....

Ones that have finished i watch are Buffy, Charmed and Angel, the first 2 more than Angel.....

Bones is a good programme, im sure series 2 has just started a few weeks ago.

who has time for TV?

I do watch Larry King any time I can catch his show which is not often.

I would love to follow The Sopranos in real time, but neither get HBO, nor have time. Catch up when the seasons are released on TV at which point I turn into psycho bitch and will watch all episodes at one stretch only getting out of bed to get more red wine or to cook some pasta.... (this other personality of mine is somewhat a reason why I don't allow myself to get into any other shows, cause I'd quit my job and turn into a bum to watch them all....)

Right now I have the news on in the other room and before that was Fords funeral.

I'm a big fan of Bones. I got the first season on DVD for Christmas and have been watching them all week long. Other shows I make a point of watching include Rescue Me (because I freaking love Denis Leary), House and Desperate Housewives. Oh and Jeopardy...I try to watch it every night. My friends are always blown away by the answers I get watching that show. They've even tried getting me drunk before it comes on to see if I'll screw up. If anything, I get better

Looking forward to Lost coming back the most of any of the shows I follow. House is going to be good too. 24's looking good, as is Prison Break. If only there were a Star Trek on TV...

My current obsession is House. (At least until Bon Jovi or Keith get back on the road. LOL) It's been a while since I really loved a TV show as much as this one. I only started watching it because some coworkers, the same two who got me interested in American Idol, told me I *had* to see it to check out "the cute blond Australian guy." I admit I tuned in to see why they thought I should check that guy out, but I fell in love with the series. The cast is fantastic and I enjoy the mysteries and subplots most of the time. I like that it's not too blood and guts graphic too.

I'll probably watch American Idol when it starts up again. I've seen Bones a few times, but I get grossed out by the dead bodies, so I quit watching it. I watched Ghost Whisperer last season, but always seem to forget that it's on this season.

Haha the American one, sorry. I've tried to get into the UK one but I just can't conect with it, which is really odd because I generally love british comedy.
