I loved that line too! I ship House/Cuddy too. Of course, I'm a complete Chaser, so I loved everything Chase in this episode. I really enjoyed his being so rattled and trying to keep it together when he always looked like he'd been crying. The hug! That was so sweet. I loved that he solved the puzzle and how happy he was about the answer they found. The shallow part of me thought the orange hat was adorable. LOL I think Jesse is fantastic. He conveys so much with his expression--which is usually good since he usually gets the short end of the dialogue.

I could really ship Chase/Cameron if she'd get one personality and stick with it--and if she'd get over House.

I'm not a big fan of Cameron - just because, like you said, she needs to stick to one personality. I don't like the idea of her and House together. Breaking into his apartment was a little out there too - even the fact that she admitted to opening his mail. There are some things she does/says were she's so upright and then she admits to opening her boss' mail. What's wrong with that picture?

I've never really noticed it, but Chase does get the short end of the stick when it comes to dialogue. I wonder why that is.

I had to laugh when House told the ducklings the name "his file" was under - Luke N. Laura.

I'm finished watching Season 1 of THE SHIELD. It was absolutely phenomenal. Vic Mackie is one of the most interesting characters I've ever seen on television. A hero and and an evil bastard at the same time. It's a really amazing show. Highly recommended.

I'm about half way through season 1 of HOUSE and although it's by no means the greatest show ever I really like the show. It's strange because I never come away from watching an episode thinking that was the best thing I'd ever seen and every episode basically follows the same formula, and most of it goes over my head because there's so much medical jargon in the show but there is something so likable and watchable about it. Hugh Laurie is fantastic and the rest of the team are very good too. It's just good solid entertainment.

A bit of an update, and a resurrection for this thread (well it is the time of year for that sort of thing, don't ya know?).

THE SHIELD: 5 Seasons of undoubtedly the most powerful and unrelenting tv show since Season 1 of "Millennium". I'm just constantly blown away by this show, every time I think it gets as good as it can possibly get, it just vamps it up even more. The fifth season with Forest Whitaker was probably the best year of the show and Season 6 looks set to be even better.

HOUSE: I just adore this show, probably to the point where it's now my favourite show airing at the moment. It's just so damn enjoyable. The character Dr. House has got to be without doubt the greatest character to ever grace the small screen, plus Jennifer Morrison might be the sexiest person who's ever lived. I don't have the words to do justice to Hugh Laurie's portrayal of House, it's just about the best thing I've ever seen. And the great thing about this show is that it's constantly improving. The second half of season 1 was much better then the first half. Season 2 was better then season 1 and season 3 is definitely the best yet, and if Hugh (and the show) doesn't win every award under the sun this year for his performance then I think I may have to go on a killing spree .

Here's a run down of other shows I've been watching this year and what I thought of them. Please share your thoughts on the shows you've been watching this year. I found House because of this thread I'm wondering what other hidden gems are out there. I've heard good things bout "Jericho" and might pick it up on DVD when it comes out. Does anybody watch that show and would you recommend it?

PRISON BREAK season 2: Brilliant season. Probably not as good as season 1 and it drags a little in the middle of the season but overall it was brilliant and what a set-up to season 3.

STARGATE ATLANTIS season 3: The best kept secret on TV, without a doubt. Brilliant stories, writing and direction. Fascinating and well rounded characters played by some great actors and not to mention the best visual effects you'll see on television. Season 3 for me is a tie with House season 3 for the best season of television this year. Regardless if you're a sci-fi fan or not, go out and watch this show, it really is amazing!

LOST season 3: I think this year of Lost has been fantastic. It's certainly had it's faults, much like season 2, in that the continuity has been poor. One storyline is introduced and then not dealt with again for weeks, by which time it's effect has worn off. Also, the characters have been separated far too much and split into smaller separate groups too often. The arc of the first six episodes was a bit iffy too (if ever there was a shown made to be watched on DVD this is it) but overall this season has produced some of the best episodes ever and continues to be incredibly gripping, intriguing, surprising, pulse-racing and downright frustrating, which is exactly the way it should be. Good riddons to all the nay-sayers and those who moan about not getting any answers, I say.

24 season 6: Disappointing is word I would use to describe this year. Repetitive is another. I really had high hopes for this season as the pre-season talk was of a rouge Jack Bauer who was fighting for his life while also saving America. That sounded great. Unfortunately this season has put Jack into all the same old positions without any interesting new spin on it. Tack on the family drama for Jack and things get worse. The CTU stuff is boring and President Palmer II is bad sequel. The only really interesting part of the show this year has been the Vice President Daniels and Tom "The Biscuit" Lennox story, and the return of former President and first Lady from last year but they only lasted one or two episodes and seems to have been totally forgotten about now. Hopefully it will end brilliantly and all will be redeemed.

BONES season 2: Lovin' it. Considerably better then season 1 with a darker, more serious tone while still very funny and tongue-in-cheek'ish. Plus, Stephen Fry in a recurring role. Splendid! Now if only he'd do a stint on House.

SOUTH PARK season 11: How does a show stay this good after this long. The "Nigger" episode was a classic; Butters off to prayer camp to "pray away the gay"; the perfect 24 parody where Hillary Clinton had a "snuke up her sniz" (if you haven't seen it, can you figure out what that could mean?) and the Queen of England blowing her brains out; the true meaning behind easter and a whole episode devoted to the world of head lice. What's next?

SCRUBS season 6: B'ah. I'm losing interest in this show. It's just not that funny anymore. In the first three years I'd be on the floor laughing the whole way through the episode when I wasn't shedding a tear at the dramatic moments. Now it tends to be a series of chuckles with maybe one of two belly laughs and even the death of a beloved character last week failed to create any serious heartache. It's still great but not what it once was.

One other show I started watching because of all the hype and great things said about it was HEROES but I just didn't get into it at all. Far too silly, boring and it didn't seem to go anywhere, I felt.
