Obviously subjugated by years of living in an overbearing patriarchal society and objectified as mere sexual beings as opposed to thinking equals by some cruel and callous misogynistic androcrats, all traces of self-confidence have been crushed out of them and so on an evening’s preparation they are constantly trying to achieve an insurmountable imagined state of perfection they do not feel worthy of.
