The job I loved ended forever. I moved on to a job that I hated. Now I'm working at something great again. I bought a .45 I've wanted for 2 years. School is a never-ending festival of frustration. The stupid party fumbled the elections, and the evil party won. Lost, House, and Prison Break have been might good.

Looking at that list, it seems like more bad happened than good, but my overall impression of the year has been neutral to positive. We'll see if we can't end the year on a high note.

Adrian

2006 has been kinda weird for my good self.

this time last year i was kinda in the middle of almost getting back together with my ex girlfriend. as luck would have it i royally ****ed that one up and to be honest that's probably the best thing that could have happened give3n the situation.

i almost died in april which kinda sucked

i went busking in europe which was amazing and has given me the travel bug

im slowly but surely getting to the end of my degree and ive got my post grad application in the system and if i don't get intot hat i have a 2 year plan to see the world

after a bunch of dating randoms ive never really digged too much ive found a nice little lady and we're getting on great

im going to berlin for new year, going to latvia in january and then ive got a bunch of possible plans for summer.

so all in all 2006 has been not bad at all given that i could very easilly not have been here to complain.

PS. the yanks might want to take note that next time our scouse friend kev is coming stateside for a bon jovi concert i fully intend to join the campaign

Fan-****ing-tastic!!!

Spent 5 months in Germany on a holiday visa, which allowed me to spend some quality time with my girlfriend, Bettina. during which I was able to get to a few BJ shows and I was lucky enough to get 3 belter shows!! Seeing U2 for the first time was also great, as they were the band behind Jovi that I wanted to see live the most. Australia made a good fist of their return to WC football, as well as qualifying for the Asian Championships next year. My time at home at the end of this year has been great, as I've been trying to do as many things with friends and family as possible, so busy as, but in a good way. A quick mention must go to my weekend in Liverpool/Leeds with Carli, Kev and Paul (and a couple of cameos from Neil and Yvonne!). Had an absolute ball, drank a shitload of beer and got to see my beloved aussie rules grand final 'live'!!! Am looking foward to repeating that next year, as well as winning all of my money back on those little bastard quiz machines in all of the pubs. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with those things, I love them when I win, I hate them when I don't, lol.

2007? Well, let's just see what happens, eh??

2006 was generally a crap year when my grandmother died, medium to severe health problems of close friends and myself, problems at uni, internship which sucked,...

But thankfully there was one wonderful month in summer, when I went to Africa and lived one of the best months of my life. So I'll make sure to remember just that of the past year and roll on to the next with an empty slate.

On the whole its been a good year and of course seeing Bon Jovi was a good high light another day to remember . Business wise its been terrible !! the worst year so far .The trade i'm in has more or less died on its feet but hopefuly the new business i'm starting will do well next year and keep those nasty banks away

I loved 2006!
Best year of my life so far!

- Not a student anymore (which I loved, cause way too much stress for me).
- Didn't got a steady job but got many interims as teacher which gave me the oppurtunity to learn a lot, met lots of people AND earn money.
- Went to 4 Bon Jovi-shows (of which 3 were awesome!!!!!!). Great to see my favourite band of all time that much + spending time with friends from here!
- My trip to the USA ... Best of all, great places, great friends on the road, great friendship after the tour and still!
- No one that I know, died - which was the first year after 5 years of suffering
- ........

Nothing REALLY bad happened, so 2006 ---> I hope 2007 will be as good (which I doubt )

LOL, that 'kinda sucked'? (glad you're still here, though!)

2006 has been a good year for me. Had a more or less shitty year in 2005 and I've learned to pick up the pieces this year and just move on. Easier said than done, but I've managed. And I've gotten to know my true friends. Some friends bailed out on me when I needed them most - so good riddance. On the other hand, I also got some meaningful help from people of which I didn't expect it.

Workwise, things seem to have gone into a better direction this year.

Musicwise, I'm exploring new paths which is all cool.

Partywise, well.. I've been partying way more than I used to. Parties are good. Booze is good. Having no hangovers are even better.

2006 rocked.
