Look, I read the Daily News article that appeared the same day as this NY Post article that Choc put up. They presented a very neutral view of the situation stating both sides. Americans are not as "trapped" by the media as some people like to believe. I live here, I know. It really depends on where you get your info. from.

theres a reason y most Brits dont want to be a part of europe. i have alot of respect for G W Bush just now in that he's making a stand for common sense. He refuses to bow down to political correctness which i think is very admirable.

France and Germany have shown their true colours BOTH by not wishing to fight Iraq whereas the rest of europe wishes to do so AND vetoing a NATO clause which states that NATO must protect a member if they are under threat of attack ie Turkey.

I'm in no way a warmongerer (although the PC brigade seem to label everyone in favour of war as one) but i do feel that this is the right thing to do. For a decade Europe stood back and let Hitler come into power because they didn't want to get involved and look at hwat that led to. I'm not saying that Iraq will start WW3 but it's better to hit them before they hit you.

And I totally disagree with the racist label people get thrust upon them for favouring war. This is not a war against the Muslim world or the East. It is a war against Iraq and Saddam Huessein. I do believe that one of the main reasons Bush wants Iraq is for the oil but it seems like a much better reason to goto war than say, oppose the Communists (Vietnam) or just for expansion, racist and egotystical reasons (Germany in ww2)

The papers and news may have propaganda against Saddam but it is pretty harmless and people do see through most of it. On the other hand we have people like Saddam and Osama Bin Laden telling their countries and allies that we are trying to destroy the Muslim faith and that they should kill as many innocent Westeners as possible in order to become martyrs and get into Heaven.

Look at it this way. Bush says we must goto war Osama Bin Laden says fly planes into buildings and plant bombs. I know whos propaganda i'd rather be fed.
