We have a 3 hour difference within our own country and we still manage to do business (you'll adjust pretty quickly to the fact that you won't reach anybody on the east coast after 2pm or so....).

We get that anyway. I kinda like it, it gives me a good excuse for sleeping in
What time is it light in winter time over there?
It varies with the weather. Sometimes it's like 8am before it starts getting light and it starts getting dark at about 5pm

I think then it would actually be good for you to change it so that it starts getting dark by six.

Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, I don't really care about shorter days (but maybe I should experience it for real :P ). But I thought it would be getting dark earlier over there.

Why ?

It's a stupid thing changing the time, I know that, but maybe it would actually be nice to have daylight until six o'clock instead of just five o'clock.
