Thats all they CAN aim for. Look at the odds.

I wasn't convinced by the reasons we went to war.

One of them was that it would put an end to Terrorism. Instead it has increased as predicted. We r in increased threat at home.

Bottom line is this attack wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the war. They aren't mutually exclusive. So anyone who supported the war, is really in no position to moan about the consequences this has brought about.

i'm not saying it didn't happen due to the war but the UN didn't attack them or kick out their beloved prick of a dictator. if u'r hitting anyone hit the army, thats what they signed up for. not nice but it happens, don't do it to people working in offices.

i will never have any sympathy or respect for the majority of terrorists no matter who they hit or what they do and i'm sure alot of peoples opinions will change as soon as they start hitting here and do more hits on the US mainland.

The point is that they have no chance against the army, hence why there is an army sitting in Iraq now. Look at Israel - Palestine. Its 6 of 1, half a dozen of the other - the difference is both sides r fighting to their means. Also - most attacks so far have been against the army & they r still terrorists.

I don't condone what they did, but have the ability to look at the wider issues & why it is happening. U can't commit an act that will incite terrorism & then complain about it. More to the point, u should analyse why they r doing it & perhaps make a better effort in future to avoid it.

& the bottom line is they r doing it because someone invaded their country - & they aren't too happy with the after war effort (or lack of).

i'm not denying that its not because of the war it's happening, I KNOW IT IS but nothing and i mean nothing will make intentionally killign innocent people because the army is too strong right and it really does show these vermin for what they are.

sooner or later they're going to start blowing themselves up over here and i hope i'm not the only one who'll be heading straight to get a gun as soon as it does.

I hope it'll lead ppl to ask some serious questions about the propoganda the government threw us & the intelligence it has for this war, the innocent ppl killed from the safe vantage point of miles away! (& don't say it wasn't intentional - they knew innocent ppl would get killed).

& if they do start blowing stuff up over here, I'll want to know why the gov't put us in this position for such dodgy reasons.

I imagine if someone invaded your country, u wouldn't sit down & take it because it wasn't honourable to fight back any way u knew how.

I know its horrible & I wish it wouldn't happen.... but it was always going to happen.

yes civilians do die during war, it's the sad fact of the matter, has happened for thousands of years and will continue to do so.

yes the US and UK knew there would be civilian casualties but the difference ends there.

u can't put armies who are after another army and kill some innocent people without meaning it(lets face it they dont blow up civilians for target practice do they) and people who's only aim is to kill as many civilians as possible int he same bracket.

maybe it's the fact that ive got family in ulster and have seen wot these people do to other people and their lives that i think this way but terrorists are not freedom fighters. if you want to fight for freedom u fight the real target not by standers.

Bad way: Hamas with Israel.

What Ghandi and Luther King did was incredible but that doesn't always work and look at what ended up happening to them.

it's not that hard to understand
killing innocent people is wrong. armies dont make an intention of doing it though it does happen, terrorist try to kill as many innocent people as possible. theres a difference.
