i was having a rant about the coverage of the helicopter pilots deaths recently... it dominated regional and national news in the UK - more so than the bombing itself it seems

Leningrad - blockaded without food 900 days - cannabilism... parents selling babies for food or eating them themselves... deliberate kidnapping of children for food... eating of solvents, soil... fuel, parafin... families freezing to death, falling into the ice trying to escape.... all this suffering - Russia saved the world from the Nazis more than the British or Americans... and yet they always remained the enemy

put things into perspective
yeah mainly the russians saved us from the nazis and i don't know why the US gets all the credit.
yeh as Mongoose said - US only get all the credit because they go around telling everyone... crediting themselves
They have been crediting the British military too.
More like killing them....
