Default What a difference a year makes

So another year is just about over n I'm wondering what's changed as far as you guys are concerned.

This time last year I was:

so loved up you couldn't imagine and even considering proposing.

now she's long gone and I forgot how fun being single was. apparently I'm like a completely different person as a result and better for it too which is cool.

Last year I was looking for another job, managed to get myself sacked anyways and I'm doing a much better job that I enjoy and I'm getting paid more for it.

I drank cider like a stank. now i cant even stomach the stuff and drink white wine whenever I can.

I was doing accountancy at unia nd hating it. now Im doing social sciences and pretty much loving all of it.

I'm in much better shape, my singing and songwriting has come on incredibly and over all i'm pretty content with life as it stands.

I've had a scrape or 2 with the law but been pretty fortunate in that nothings came of it.

Ive got rid of alot of "friend" and realised that despite their failings, my real mates are there for life.

I mayyyyyyy be a little jaded about relationships and stuff, I'm not entirely sure but that's about the only negative thing I can take out of this year.

how about you guys?

This time last year I

was studying Architecture at Uni but a few months after dropped it to change to Multimedia Systems which I'm now doing.

spent a lot of time doing coursework. Not, even though I have more modules I do less work (or it's just easier and I enjoy it more so do the work faster)

spent a lot of time watching DVD's (had just got a new player then) but now I spend more time on my PC.

was bored a lot of the time....hang on, that hasn't changed

Last year was so hard on many plans, makes me realise more than before how life can be hard !

There's one thing i decided : i want a real situation/work and a real salary, not a new contract (maybe ) each month like now, but a real job ! and in what i like : justice.
So i decided i will take some courses and take an exam, i need a part time job to pay the courses, i already got the school, that's my project, the biggest i had in years and years. I'd be so proud if i can do it !

And after that it's a situation and a salary for life !!!! who knows what can happen, what life can bring, if i find myself alone with my kids i wouldn't be without anything.

Oh, it's true - that's one new thing in my life - my mission to fight your right wing militia in general and yourself in particular *evil laughter* :P

Let's be reasonable, the Spanish let commie's take the gaff over, your threat of defence does not deter me too much.

Commies? As far as I know we have a socialist government and the previous one, which was in power for 8 years, was right wing

So no commies around :P
