lol what a funny thread ... it made me laugh very hard because i recall my own experience it wasn't my grand mother but my own mom but sometimes when ppl get older they can really be tough with the ppl taking care of them ...I felt awful to want to runaway as she was needing me (especially thin king that today as she is gone ) but it'sz not natural for everyone to take care of older persons even your own family or should I say ESPECIALLY when they are close to you ...

I think kathleen advice is the best for the hay fever for the cols and for the grandma thing a drink or two !!!

I'm just joking, try listening to whatever music comforts you in this kind of situation, following by breaking something,something of no value to you but I've found that breaking stuff and punching a wall helps you vent.

Instead of inhumanely beating her like Jimbo says to do. Just slip her the wine, that Kathleen suggested, into her food, or give her some sleeping pills. At least she can get some rest, and you can get some peace and quiet.

When I feel like doing damage to someone or something, if the weather's good, I run. Doesn't have the calming effect that most people think, it just wears me out. If running isn't possible, I find a room I can lock myself in and play loud music or watch an action movie.

As soon as my parents left me alone too (yesterday I must have had a banner telling people to treat me badly...) I just went to bed. I took ages in falling asleep but at least I was on my own. So I'm glad I didn't harm anyone after all.

Hay fever hasn't left me but I'm feeling much more cheerful today, which is obviously good. But thanks for the advice. I'll take some in consideration for next time
