Yes I am really Italian - my Mother and her family is from Positano, near Naples and Sorrento. Most of my extended family still lives there. The eating tradition is alive and well in New Jersey though, as is the accordian music Tomorrow night will be a huge feast at my house too. Unfortunately, there is no Nonna to do all the cooking. My Mom will cook some but not everything. Fortunately my husband loves to cook and my 3 kids and my sons wife cooks so there is not so much for just one person to do. We all cook a little and combine the dishes. I'm getting hungry just typing this

We're gonna have one day of visiting relatives and one day just for the three of us. Doing nothing besides watching christmas movies (Scrooge!) and having a nice dinner.
