I'm reading "Le Cinquième Rêve" (The Fifth Dream) by Patrick Van Eersel.

It's about the author's thoughts about the origins and possible evolutions of mankind through different and more or less serious studies of our relations with dolphins, whales, orcas and other animals. Our differences, our communication (like playing music WITH them), the way we see/hear one another, etc... Seems weird but really interesting.
