I've seen them two times last year in Zurich and in Munich. I liked them very much and if they come to North Germany again I propably will go. They are really good.

This is thanks to BJ that I got to know Gotthard. I'd never heard of them until I went to see Jovi's shows in Vienna and Munich. They (Gotthard, not Jovi ) are almost unknown apart from Switzerland (I know that even in other German speaking countries almost noone knows them, at least none of my German friends ), though I think they deserve much more. I did not know them a year ago, and now I have all of their albums...

The funny thing about the Vienna gig. The only support that was listed on the tickets (at least as far as I remember) was Gotthard. As I did not know them at all, I didn't even know what kind of music they play or how they look like. So when the support band entered the stage and started to play only some cover songs (really - they played nothing that I would never heard before) I was really dissapointed (still thinking it was Gotthard playing). Then - after a while (this cover-set lasted for like a half an hour), another band entered the stage. And the fun begun - THIS was Gotthard. And though I have heard all of their songs for the very first time, I felt like I have known them forever.

And another support story - the next concert was in Munich (the final gig of the European leg of the tour, by the way). This time we knew about two bands playing. The first was Gotthard, the second (meaning the more important one) - Stereophonics. Before Vienna I really wanted to see Stereophonics as I knew them and kinda liked their music. Now I had two bands I was looking forward to seeing (apart from BJ of course ). This time Gotthard played only for a while (but still great). And "my" Stereophonics... well... They were late ("stars"), and what they played did not feel like a live concert. It was rather 'dead' concert... One of the biggest disappointments... We wished it was Gotthard a main support one more time... Well... Maybe someday!

I was at the BJ concert on June 29th 2001 and I gotta say that Gothard wasn't bad....even the other band (I have forgotten their name) wasn't bad either! Anyway, I didn't listen to them so much, I was too excited about what was comin' next

Gotthard were pretty good! They knew how to get the crowd going in Munich, it's just a shame the other support band - the 'phonics spoilt it by being miserable ****!

Gotthard were great !! I loved them a lot ... really a good surprise as an opening band ... I loved them and bought their records after I saw them in Zurich and in Wien ... It was perfect after Gotthard to continue with the greatest

I think Gotthard was ok!!!!! Not that I liked it very much, but I liked it!!! I just remember the Homerun-Song now. The other songs they sang on the concert I have forgotten! But my fave BonJovi support-band was Reamonn, I saw them in Zeltweg in Austria in August 2000. (but I liked them before I saw them on the Bon Jovi concert! )
The Stereophonics were also great!!!!
