For me, a friend is a person who respects you, helps you out when you need it and doesn't stab you in the back.

Friends are people who dont judge you and always make time for you.

Oh yeh and if you go to their house, throw up in every room (except the bathroom) and trip over their cat they STILL invite you back again.

like we always said, we booked the holiday before we had any ties and we weren't prepared to let anything get in the way of that. he's come back and things are normal with him and her; he got no phone numbers and had no intention of staying in touch with any of the girls anyway.

Someone who makes time for you, wants you to feel owkee and help you if there is a problem. Someone who you can talk to very well and of course, ... someone to make fun with !!! Also very important !

my mate always falls out with his girlfriend and we were out on e night naone of his ex's was steaming and sed she loved him n stuff. so all night he's like awww man why did she say that, what am i suppose to say to that u know.

he was really just wanting me to say uch go n get off wi her n ill no tell ur bird but i just sed listen, ur a big boy now, i know wot u should do n u do too but i'm not stopping ud oin anything u want to do.

i didn't/ don't even like his bird but whats the point of going out with someone if ur going to get off with other people or want to? u might as well just be sdingle and save everyone some grief down the road

like you said, it's his life. for me to tell him for 7days that he shouldn't be doing it would have spoiled our holiday. i let it be and no harm has been taken from it. what happened on that holiday stays on that holiday.

Sorry, agree with Richie on this one. I have a friend who was going to cheat on her partner once and she was looking to me to tell her what to do. I said to her then that I am not her mother, if she wants to sleep with the guy then she should, I will not judge her either way. The reason that I did not get involved is because if it backfires or she regrets it, then I am the one who told her to do it! That is not what I'm there for. Everyone should follow their own morals. She kept saying that she wanted to sleep with him, my answer was: then do it, then she would say it's wrong, my answer was: then don't do it. Yes, I was and am friends with both her and her then partner and because of that I did not let my opinion get in the way. Who am I to judge either one of them or say to the one the other did wrong? My task as a friend is to be there for both and support both, not to instill my values and norms. (Btw.. she slept with the guy, cheating on her partner, broke up that relationship, continued to stay with the guy and is now married with a new baby!!)
