That's what I've been doing for years too - most of my posts occur during working hours.

I also do research on stuff I've been meaning to look up and I do far to much shopping online (mostly books and records).

As a last resort - plan ahead for weekend projects or trips.

Alphabetize, straighten, dust, straighten the books on the wall outside the door, and if there's REALLY nothing to do, I look up movie and music reviews in our ordering system.

I either post here/elsewhere or go to the IT Support dept and give them a hand.

I'm about 6 feet down the corridor from them (I'm in IT Evidence Analysis) so we know each other pretty well

I can't spend time doing nothing really - I keep working.
