Eh? Cheating is cheating, that is not cheating.

Feeling sleepy is something I can never stand. There's nothing that works much for me, except maybe taking a shower but that's not a possibility when you're not at home :P Otherwise I keep rubbing my eyes and drinking Coca Cola just in case. But it's such an awful feeling. Ugh.

no it's not... cheating is an unfair way to get good marks, whereas studying the night before is completely fair... I've been a last-minute-studyer all my life, made it through the past 10 years this way without a problem. I just passed my first year at uni cum laude this way and still know about everything I learned. I don't think I've ever had problems with not remembering stuff afterwards. Why change a winning method anyway? I will always be a last-minute-studyer and I don't feel there's anything wrong with it.

Anyway... to get back on topic :P... I usually take a powernap (just 15 minutes or so)... they really work for me. I feel like a reborn person afterwards ! Coffee can do the trick for me as well... sometimes.

thomas anderson you harsh fellow! can you honestly say most of the things that you have been tested on exams are even halfway worth remembering the day after? honestly? of my GCSEs and A levels very little was, and the same seems to be the case at Uni. If i remembered it all forever I wouldn't have the brain space to remember the names of my friends
i see what you mean but that should be a criticism of the exam system itself rather than individuals who choose to study intensively.

that is all.

feeling sleepy when you HAD to be awake but you juste WANT to lay on your bed and sleep is something I HATE too.
I remember I used to stay awake until mornging sometimes because I had tones of homeworks and my eyes were slowly closing and most of the times I just couldn't keep my eyes open and when I was able to keep them open i was just not capable to think properly so...
By morning I often found myself sleeping as I was still sitting in front of my desk, sleeping and drooling on my homeworks... memories memories.
I hate coca and coffe so that was not an option for me... I just could put the music very loud but even the loudest music I had at home made me feel sleepy (Linkin Park's Chester's screeming voice sounded so soft and sweet to me at that time... a veritable lullaby... )
So I slapped myself..... that didn't really help and work.
I'm so glade I'm done with those never ending nights with homeworks and exams and tests... (well not exactly done but kinda lets's say)

Try drinking 500mls of normal Coca-Cola, followed by 750mls or Lucozade. That works for me, even if it does make ya burp really bad for the next few hours.

you are kidding right??- you end up going to the loo every 5 seconds!!!!

and enough with the medicine examples puh-lease!! its fine to say go over all lecture notes every week but it depends on your course. when youre doing a basket weaver course obviously its gonna be A LOT easier to get stuff like that done. but when you constantly have something that needs doing there just isnt enough time.
