oh yeah, i really like topology too! for the rest i especially do a lot of modern differential geometry, which interrests me the most. (especially symplectic topology and curvature flows in riemannian geometry.)
i will have my last exams in september/october and will then work on my diploma thesis about "ricci flow" (you probably heard about that subject, because Perelman used ricci flow to proof the Poincare conjecture - one of the seven problems where you get a million for solving them). one of my professors (Ilmanen) works a lot with Perelman and Richard Hamilton (who invented ricci flow).... and that's why all these famous guys have been giving lectures about that subject here at ETH, was pretty cool to talk to them...
anyway, don't wanna go into details too much....
