A leather jacket, Enterprise-A ornament, Heat DVD, and some very politically incorrect stuff from my brother. And my boss gave me a $15 gift card. Everybody was thanked many times.

Too many headaches and heartaches and the overwhelming urge to pack my bags and and hop on a flight to anywhere out of here.

Aww, Becky, I'm sorry you had such a bad holiday. Hopefully, the New Year will be better for you.

Although, I can relate to that feeling of wanting to pack your bags and go anywhere but where you are.

I can sympathize too Becky - sometimes too much family togetherness is - too much family togetherness. I am ready to ship a few people home myself.

My son gave me my best present this year. It's called a Slim Device "Squeezebox". It allows me to stream music from my home network through my main (and very high quality) sound system. It is also web based when connected to my wireless router so I can manage media folders on a computer with it. It plays internet radio (shoutcast etc). It majorly kicks ass all around and I am delighted with it

Any other nerds on the board that are interested in checking the device out can read here:

http://www.slimdevices.com/

Their earlier version only streamed mp3s but this one supports wav and flac.

Kathleen, that looks like a nifty little device. I wouldn't mind having one of those myself.

And that is one of the reasons I still live in Florida. I love my family, but I love having my space too! I miss them all the time, but sometimes I think it's better to miss them than resent them because they are constantly around. That's how I am with my aunt right now, and I hate that things are like that. I used to love being with her, now I dread it.
