Like you, to pay extreme prices, I would need some kind of "event", that couldn't be replicated.

You definitely go further than me, though, in valuing the premium of a special, large, venue at at £100.

Especially for Bon Jovi, who a) have played the same venue before for a fraction of the price and b) have made no significant advances in musical talent over the past ten years and c) are less famous than they were.

The very size of venues like Wembley and Giants makes for a large supply of tickets and opportunities to profit. Surely this would mean each individual needs to pay LESS of a premium for it to be worth the band's while to get out of bed. I doubt the running costs of a 70,000 capacity show are 7 times larger than a show for 10,000 people.

For one of the old Christmas shows in a small theatre somewhere, though.....
