I work with accounts payable and receivable for this summer. Did that a year ago too.

As most of you know I'm a structural engineer. I started working for myself when my kids were born so I could arrange my own hours and spend time with my kids. I am still working for myself 25 years later (they call us consultants now ). I still do exactly what I went to school to do - I have a Master of Science degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from UC Berkeley. It was and still is the perfect job for me and my personality. I am a practical person who needs to know WHY about how things work in the world. This field is a never ending adventure because change is constant and new technology must be learned and understood before it can be applied. I love it

Kathleen this is great to be able to do what you like and the way you like it ... you had such a priceless chance for this ... to be your own boss is the best when you want to work while raising kids ...
