I think you already know Mireille...I'm an exec assistant in an American bank, have been for almost 8 years now, I like what I do and my position has been getting better with the years but I sometimes think I would like to do something completely different...

while I'm not spending all your hard earned tax money being a lay abotu social sciences student I'm a bar man and a really ****ing good one at that

Love the job. Not because there's drink involved but because it's not even like a job. it's sociable, yopu get to hear great music, even if you're working at the weekend, you're making money in a pub instead of spending it, the staff aree all brilliant and hot (bit plus when you're one o only 2 guys in the place) it's 5 minutes down the road, you get to see most football if you're working, you could run a lorry on our house wine and it's so easy to flirt being a barman.

I actually look forward to going in whereas every other job i've done i've hated.

nope I can't drink on the job, usually have a beer or glass of wine after a shift though and they don't mind you having a wee dram or two if you're working Christmas eve or hogmanny or any of the theme nights as long as you can still do the job.

It's a hotel and even though it's a shitty hotel they still don't want it being a coup with idiots working in it and as a result, it's the nicest pub in about a 7 miles radius. my bro worked in a dive and it was hardcore, guys getting pool cues hit over their faces and bottles tossed at the gantry. this is mellow for the most part.

and russ I can handle the cravings until we finish up then Im like "WINE ME THE NOW BITCH!!!" the best beer we have is fosters which aint saying a whole lot.

I work in Customer Services Administration. Receptionist for phone lines and invoicing / credit notes, non-eu documentation...and all general office stuff. I job share....work reception Mons & Tues. I love this job. Absolutly love it. But then the rest of the week I am in customer services (for the same company) I dont like this part as there isnt much to be done and I get all the crap jobs. I want a new job...but I love the Mon & Tues part of my job...so I'm torn.
