Some hiking in the summer, quite some ice skating in the winter (rather ice hockey but I don't have the opportunity anymore).

In the winters I'm skiing, in the summers - first I have to ride my bike 7 km for seacoast, then it's time for swimming.

Of course Crash!! If you like hiking, you'd absolutely love it here. We have the Cascade Mountain Range just to the east and the Olympic Mountains on the Peninsula, surrounded by a temperate rainforest in the west. The beaches are perfect for hiking (way too cold for swimming, though some crazies do it every now and then).

As for Indian summers - we don't usually have those. But this year, winter officially went missing we had a few cold days, but for the most part we are back in the 50/60s :S So, people put their skies away and take their camping gear back out lol.

I should be rowing with my team 8 times a week, 1 to 2 hours each time... but... since I've got a wristinjury at the moment in both my wrists I can't row. But I need to stay as fit as the rest of my team, so I'm in the gym for spinning 2 times a week, outdoors running twice a week and swimming once a week. Weights, situps, pushups, legpress twice a week... I can't wait to get back in the boat again.

That sounds breathtaking. My first choice though would be Vancouver (not exactly for hiking) but once I am there (eventually) I'm sure I could arrange a side trip to visit you...

Vancouver? Why Vancouver? You'd forget all about Vancouver once you get to Seattle It's only a 3.5 hour drive down here

Well, I consider it one of the most beautiful cities in my book, based on hearsay and firsthand reviews.
