cat books r strong mofo's.

my mum ran over my foot a couple of months ago (accident i assume) was wearing my catboots and didn't feel a thing.

and women take the shoe thing way too far.

we went on holiday for 7 days in the summer.

guess how many pairs of shoes one of the girls we went with took.

I like Nike sneakers, and Adiddas too. For boots I like Sketcher's. I don't really know what brands my dress shoes are. I go to the department store, find what I need and buy them. I don't look for name too much on heels that I may only wear a few times in a year. I've got tons of sandals. Expensive Sketcher's ones all the way down to cheap $10 ones. I don't care about how much I spent on shoes I'll only be wearing to walk the dog or go to the beach.

Actually im not as bad with buying shoes as some of my mates are but yeh ive got a cupboard full of ones ive only worn once.
yeah your just like me mum and my mate leanne, millions and millions of shoes they have worn just once....why cant girls be like us and just have to pairs?

I have one pair of trainers and one pair of shoes...thats enough fo me!
now how would that work???? I am not wearing my $140 running shoes to walk the dog But I do neet two pairs of sneakers for walking the dog, cause it rains a lot here and one pair might be wet, so I need a second one. Then, I need another pair for working in the yard. Of course if it is totally wet in the yard, I need rubber-boots. When I go hiking, I cannot use my sneakers, I need proper hiking boots. Since I hike a lot, I need two pairs, cause one might be too dirty to wear the next day (after a long hike, all I can manage once I get home is order Pizza and soak in the hottub - not cleaning the boots).

Then, in the summer, I need at least several pairs of sandals, flip flops in probably 3 different colors (though I have those lime green ones that only go with my lime-green linen pants), strap-sandals for work (again in at least 2 different colors), hiking sandals for those hot days, regular every-day sandals.

Winter, boots - at least 4 pairs, cause two to wear with pants and two pairs (black and brown) to go with skirts.

Going out - some fancy boots (or maybe two, cause you don't want to wear the same boots two nights in a row).

And all this is just the BASICS. We are not even getting into the "fun part" of owning some pairs just because they look good.

Get it? Two pairs???? HUH???

Of course, then we should be talking about jackets and purses....... lol
There see thats why Kev!! :P
