It's clear as day. There's a warning. Everyone knows what X-rated means. Dn't open it if you don't want to.

yes - obviously - but there were links posted before and they were removed, so, I still don't understand the reasoning behind it.

If something is deleted, like Jim's stories, and you want to know why or voice your displeasure about it, PM a mod instead of complaining about it after the fact in someone elses topic.

You have to understand that there aren't rules for every little thing around here, and sometimes it is left up to the moderators discretion. If you don't approve, then let people know when it happens so something can be done, which is what Neil has done in the past regarding his posts.

complaining??? Not sure what exactly you are referring to... maybe you could be a bit more specific in the future before I go off on tangents.

If anything, valid questions were raised - publically - and appropriately so. Pming a mod means nothing to the board - others that find the reasoning equally bizarre will still be in the dark about the rules.

I have absolutely no idea what pming a mod would accomplish - unless it is the original poster who wonders where their post went....

Personally, I am satisfied with goose's explanation.

Believe me, I wasn't 'questioning' your post because of the content - as far as I'm concerned you may post anything you want - but how it staying compares to what has been done regarding other, less explicit posts, that's all. But as Spunky said, if you decide to twist words and turn them into what you'd like us to say - go ahead. I know what I meant and if you can't understand it it's not my problem.

Your reasons for posting this weren't to make people laugh through the link, but to spark exactly this debate. But when people failed to say what you wanted them to, you twist their words so that they do say it anyway. Very clever

Complaining or questioning, lets not get caught up in specifics as it wasn't meant as an insult.

PM'ing a mod gives other mods the opportunity to provide their input instead of just going by the whim of one person. Let me explain using Jim's stories as an example. If someone complains to a mod about the deletion of Jim's stories, a mod could bring it up to other mods and Peter in order to make a group decision about whether it was appropriate or not. Otherwise, it is just left up to one mod's discretion. If that mod deletes something, and nobody complains at the time, the mod assumes it was the right thing to do and will continue to do the same in the future. The situation could have been taken care of instantly, instead of days later.

Regardless, it was brought up here and you are satisified, even though, in Kev's defense, what Goose said about him is not the case as he wasn't the one who did it. All I am saying is that it is possible to excercise the above option in the future.

Oh come on. You're being paranoid. You really think I go about my day thinking about ways to start a debate? Grow up, will you. I was only trying to post something funny, but people like take all the fun out of it.
