I really don't know whether you spend your days trying to come up with ways to start a debate. I was just pointing out that you seemed disappointed because your post (or link, if you like) hadn't caused the controversy you wanted it to. Why would you twist other people's words then?

Honestly, I don't really care. All I was saying was how it compared to other things, but that's about all - not wanting to get into an argument. And a silly one at that :P

I do understand Spunky's point of view regarding being consistent. Mouse is correct that it's a difference of moderator. Goose and I are the mods in this Topic Forum and we're both more liberal so you aren't going to see as much censorship.

At the end of the day....the majority of us here are adults. I'm not big on a climate of prudishness. On a KISS board I post on....it's wide open. Words are not censored (some names are though as a joke) and X rated pics are openly posted and conversation content is pretty free. Anything goes. I wish we had that here...but we don't.

Ice did it just right by posting a link with a warning. It lets the reader choose without being ambushed by content they can't handle. If there are people who would be offended..they have no excuse because they did not have to click on the link and have no right to push their puritanical views on everyone else.

Ideally, yes, because no one will be caught by surprise. IF they are...they have no basis to be whining other than that they want to force everyone else to live as they do.

The problem is that you're living in the same country. Like it or not, they're Americans too. And since the US is (at least on paper) a democracy, their views affect how the US is seen abroad. So, I'm referring to the US in general. I do know about the difference, but you can't expect us to make that difference every time we post. And I'm sorry about it too, after all, it's Bush for another 4 years.
