What so great about.....?

No one would think I'd admit this, but we do have a lot of freedoms in the US that other places don't have. We can say what we like, read what we like, worship who we like, print what we like, all without fear of government intrusion. At least that's the story. You've gotta be careful what you say sometimes, otherwise you get FBI files and stuff like that, but for the most part you can go about your business, and as long as you keep your head down, vote for the 2 main candidates, and don't ask many questions of the establishment, you can do ok.

I was working with a little irony there...just trying to prove a point. America is very free for the people who do what they're supposed to.

True, true, very true. However, I wouldn't want to try it in places like Russia and China (who have 2 of the world's largest populations), even now. But, you're right. I was partially wrong.

India is biggest Democracy in the world and here we can do more then we can't do.

to put it simply its the greatest country int he world. for being relatively young it's not became the only super power by sitting on it's arse.

actually, all it had to do was exchange rhetoric with Russia till it collapsed (cant be arsed with details now, had enough of that in me fooking essay).

america was the biggest super power long before stalin got his cold commie hands on russia. dunno bvout the small gitey countries tho if i was in charge of the US the only people i'd be watchign is china and north korea.

Honestly, a great deal of the Indian population come here to make a nice living for themselves. The gov.'t gives them HUGE tax breaks. I think they are exempt from paying taxes for a few years which makes it quite easy for them to earn a very nice living for themselves. They can afford larger houses than me due to all of these benefits.

AllMike I can't help but laugh a bit at your question because the majority of India must find something fascinating about America being that they have just about taken over a few areas of Jersey. I bet we have more Indian stores around here than in India! LOL
