If you mean rock concert gig - that would have been Simon and Garfunkel in 1967 at UCLA. Shortly after that (or maybe before since I don't remember the dates exactly) would have been the Mamas and Papas with Jimmi Hendrix at the Hollywood Bowl. Definitely 1967 for both of them.

However I was taken to the symphony and and the opera in New York City when I was a very little kid. The first time I was probably about 7 years old. That may be where I got my love for live shows.

Kansas and Johnny Van Zant Band - 1980. I was 14 and was in total shock. My friend and I went with some older guys. We were right up against the stage and I saw things that night I had never even heard of! And that was the beginning of my downfall!

A rock concert? Apart from a few Finnish bands, it was Mötley Crüe in Helsinki, 1985 or '86.

That was my first BJ concert too!...was flying for weeks after.

My first indoor was Siouxsie and the Banshees Manchester Apollo... first outdoor was Simon and Garfunkel at Wembley '82.
