oh and would that be staying on topic the way you did when you went from krbs topic to finding as many silly news items about other countries as possible?

So what is one leaders success judged on....? The success of leaders previous to him. Politics is all comparison. Comparisons in spending, benefit, employment etc.

No, one leader's success should be judged in itself, never by comparison, neither with previous leaders or contemporary leaders. Was someone who ruled after Hitler successful because he didn't invade any country? I don't think so, and then by comparison he would be.

For instance, I don't care if the government is spending more on education than before and therefore by comparison it's all a success. If it's still not enough it doesn't work for me and I will consider it no success.
