thats excellent that you can block someones number on your housephone. Dont forget they can always use a differnt phone to contact you though. Yes also change your mobile number and make sure you only give it to people who you know well and can trust they wont abuse it.

My 2nd best friend is currently recieving calls which are coming up as "With-held number" and the person on the other end isnt saying anything, it happens at least 5 times a week and is really worrying her. I have told her to phone up and get her number changed, but she wont listen. Its starting to bug me now, coz I know it is upsetting her.

Its getting changed tomorrow as soon as my network people open i will be phoning and making the arrangements needed to change my number!

Luckly it's never happened to me, except from the odd prank call from little kids asking for really stupid things like taxis and stuff, which annoys me no end!

Yeah I see your point Yvonne but she just wont have any of it. Its actually doing my head in, but as Jag says, some people just wont change it for anyone. At the end of the day, its her fone, i cant make her do anything. I can only recommend, if she dont wanna listen...then its just her loss.

I've been like that this time but its got to the point where i cant put up with it anymore.
yeah...it takes alot of pride to swallow to change numbers cos someone is hassling u...not as easy as one thinks
