What's the origin of your User ID?

A similar topic was posted in the S.F.T.P.O.K regarding krb's user ID, and what it meant. Leads me to ask what the origin of other user is. Is it a nickname? Something you just came up with on the spot? Let us know. (Sorry Mike, Becky and Jess but I'm guessing your user id is simply your name )

Mine comes from a nickname I've had since school - needless to say I was a bit rowdy back then! As a musician I play under the alias Crush. Sadly that user id was taken when I joined so I reverted back to Hellman. The name Crush came about after several thousand beers with some friends when I said how cool it would be to have a one word name like Flea, Slash and Prince etc... At the time we were listening to Crush so without much ado I was christened Crush - there you go - quite silly really lol!

i got mine about 5 years ago. i was registering at a board and couldn't think of a name. i was eating chocolate as i was typing and so i just came up with that name

Well, no secret in mine. The first part is the nick of my fav band member and the second part is my name.

For those who haven't seen The Matrix, my name comes from the main character Neo (aka Thomas Anderson). Oh, and if any of you HAVEN@T seen the Matrix, what the hell is wrong with you? lol.

In my case it's my parents' fault - they came up with this name... I guess :P
