yeah, for one thing ive had my iq done properly, and it was a lot higher on the one i had done professionally... maybe im getting dumber

that last question was a bit-ch though...

This test is a bit of a joke. Only ten percent of the population should score 119 or above. Yet, nearly everyone at various message boards I frequent gets scores of that or better. Either we're a bunch of cyber geek geniuses, or the test is bogus.

If that's not enough to tell you the test inflates scores, then I'll shoot it down statistically. My results were that I scored at the 100th percentile in math and linguistics. Flattering as that may be, it is impossible to score at the 100th percentile. If one was at the 100th percentile than they would be as bright as or brighter than 100% of the population. It's a statistical impossibility.

Does it give great scores? Sure. Should you look into joining Mensa? I don't think so.

By the way, I give IQ tests for a living, so I do know what I'm talking about here.

Your score will go down as you get older. It's just the way norms (the standard your measured against) are. The good news is, as you get older, it will go up again because of the norms. A person will score their highest prior to the age of 9, typically.

I don't waste my time on internet tests cos most of them are bullshit but on proper IQ tests I've had scores between 129-134. 130's mensa level

i know your IQ decreases as you age, but i was only joking. i also know that a lot of these online 'accurate' tests are inflated and they are fun to do... but shouldnt be taken that seriously... i know what my IQ actually is, so i have no problem with these tests.... they are FUN

Proper IQ tests take your age into consideration so it's fair for all ages.
