oh God - this is not good

well i just phoned a friend up I do history with to accompany me to and from the train station since I felt i'd collapse at any second... i ended up walking the 20 minute walk (there AND back) bare foot and am in a lot of pain now

i am now unfortunately quite awake but need sleep and to suddenly feel better in time for the barbecue this afternoon/evening and then I have to read a 900 page book and do an essay from scratch in 1 day - so anyone who knows ANYTHING about Hobbes' political theories please post away

and to top it all i paid for a new phone which has lost my whole address book, as well as annoying a lot of people playing BJ 80s vcds all night (and a Van Halen one also), and now all the college has seen me walking around Oxford in just my bare feet virtually leaning on a friend so i don't fall over

as well as the fact that Virgin have decided they aren't "running trains to the 'North'," today and so Mike has to go on a mini-tour of the Midlands just to get home semi-drunk (apologies for his posts - someone please sum the best ones up for me here) and without sleep for nearly 2 days

and if you excuse me i'm turning the fan on, closing the curtains, making a "do not disturb sign", locking the door, taking the phone off the hook and am going to try to sleep in time to have the BBQ - and then i'll be up ALL night trying to do my essay, assuming i'm not still ill!
