I've explained this a couple times before but here goes....

I have a friend who, like me, is a big fan of Japanese animated programs, otherwise known as anime. My friend takes Japanese. She also likes creating online alter egos for herself. She came up with one called Yume (Japanese for dream) who was a dog demon. I wanted an alter ego, too so she suggested I be a fox demon and came up with a bunch of fitting Japanese names for me. I chose Keba which means fluff due to my fluffy hair. Really. My hair is fluffly beyond all reason. Look at a picture of David from 1985 and you'll see what my hair looks like.

I intend to keep the name Keba for all online use. It's also going to be my stage name. Kinda ironic for a rock star to be called Fluffy, isn't it? That's the point.

Soho is an area of London (no...it's not SoHo....it's not south of anything...just Soho) and it was the first area I moved to when fleeing the home town and arriving in the big city. Soho is a really cool area, but it's also got a reputation! For one thing, it's the gay capital of London! (No, I'm not by the way) For another....it's long been the home to many, many porn shops, strip clubs, prostitutes etc. A guy at work used to poke fun at me for living there, and called me 'Seedy Soho Sid' (no, my name isn't Sid...he just thought it sounded funny) I took the SohoSid part, which I thought sounded good, and have kept it as my online id ever since. I moved out of Soho ages ago, and still miss it....

but the explanation is simple, before all the continents that exist now formed, there was only one continent called Pangea, but then it split in two forming two supercontinents called Laurasia and Gondwana
i wanted to use Laurasia, but i spelled it wrong
