There several people I admire..

1 My mom for a lot reason but they don't belong here.

2 Everybody that is fighting in their own way for freedom and a save place to live.

3 All the soldiers that just do what they have to do and are in Irak now.

I can go on. But the point I want to make is that everybody admires people in a special way. Firefighters, soldiers and all those who have a job to help people will always be admired I think. And they deserve it. Look what they have done and what kind of hell they sometimes have to deal with.

I haven't really got any idols as such, or I wouldn't call them that anyway. But there are 3 people who I admire, respect and give me inspiration in many aspects of my life.

1) Richaaaaaay!! He's my favourite guitarist by far and inspires me every time I pick up my guitar. I love his songs, and he's damn cool!!

2) I can't actually remember this guys name, but its the boxer who was paralysed 10 years ago by Chris Eubank and was told he'd never walk again. In April 2003 he completed the London Marathon. I was reading article in a newspaper and ended upin tears reading it. To be told that your life is effectively over, and then complete a feat that 99% of able bodied human beings can't do is just amazing and is an inspiration for me to do my best and try my hardest at everything I do.

3) Arnold Schwarzenegger. I don't admire him much for his acting, although he is very funny and extremely cool! It's his bodybuilding days that I look up to. The intensity with which he trained, the pain he went through, the time and effort he put in, the dedication he gave to the lifestyle he chose is unbelievable. He decided when he was 13 years old that he wanted to build the best body in the world, then 10 years later he achieved this and won Mr Olympia 7 times. After retiring from pro bodybuilding he decided he wanted to be the most popular film star in the world, now years later after starring in the most expensive film of all time he is the most popular film star in the world. This man is living proof that you can achieve your dreams if you work with the highest level of intensity and dedication that you can find within yourself.

My dad, my mom, my aunt Val, and Jon.

My dad has more integrity and wisdom than any other person I've known. My mom is one of the most selfless people in the world. She's spent her whole life taking care of others. My aunt Val was incredibly strong in so many ways despite being physically frail. And Jon has the kind of intelligence, drive, and passion for following his dreams that I would like to have more of myself.

I don't really have any. I think that there are certainly people who have possibly inspired me to do things, but no-one I would consider an Idol.

I could say that I admire certain qualities in other people, but there is no-one I would look up to, or use anyone as an example for a way to live my life, or do anything else in particular.

Idols are for followers, be an individual.

i agree about the 'idol' opinion...but someone who has been a hero of mine, and still is (apart from richie) are bret hart and scott bakula - all three i hope to one day shake their hand and thank them for helping me who i am today.

SCOTT BAKULA!?!?!?!?!?

Did you say Scott Bakula...yep, that's what you said. I think he is awesome. Have you ever heard any of his musicals? The man has got an incredible voice. If he and Jon ever sang together, I'm not sure my heart could take it! LOL QL was my favorite TV show ever. Next to Jon, Scott has the most space in my video collection.

well.........my idols always seem to change.....ive had about six or seven at least......right now its a football player named Terence Newman....he wasnt too much bigger than me in High School.....and when he was on the high school football team he never got much playing time......he worked really hard in the weight room and at practice and finally got his big chance in his Junior or Senior season i think........and was a huge success playing Cornerback on defense......signed with Kansas State for college....was the best player on the team IMO....he could to all kinds of things for the team; offense and defense; he played against 3 or 4 of the best wide receivers in the nation, and he shut them all down.....got drafted earlier this year in the NFL draft.......and is now a rookie with the Dallas Cowboys (i hate dallas but oh well)

I can't think of many.

Dostoievski.Kafka.

Jimi Hendrix.Janis Joplin.

Eric Clapton.Keanu Reeves.

Jesus.Buddha.

A guy that jumped in front of a car to save his girlfriend. He had one leg and 4 fingers broken for that.

There are a lot of people I admire but they aren't idols!
