The person I admire the most is definetely my mother. I don't know how she manages to live with me.. I'm really a pain in the ***.
I don't idolise anyone, I wanna be me.. nobody else.

I should dig out that CD. I actually remember I was listening to it last August 7 because I nearly wrecked and the date being August 7 stuck with me. There's a great suite from The Man of La Mancha episode on the soundtrack CD too.

I would have to say i admire 2 people, Richie Sambora, as i think he silences critics each time theres a BJ show or BJ record. And also, Paula Radcliffe, i have watched her over the last few years work her way to where she is now and i think she has made a fantastic achievement in her running career.

Who I admire? Bon Jovi of course. I really look up to them.
Jon has that drive. I get the impression that he's a go-getter who won't give up. I mean, think about his work in the power station. He also seems really friendly and much more down-to-earth than most celebrities.
Richie is versitile. He can play all kinds of styles of music. Listen to his solo records and you can tell that they sound very different from his work in Bon Jovi. I heard he tought himself how to play guitar. That's a feat in itself.
David has had to deal with a lot of **** in his carear. I heard once he got terribly sick with a parasite or someting. And also there had to be a reason why he wasn't part of *shudder* Real Life. Plus, his father passed away during the tour and yet Dave kept doing show after show with just as much effort as ever.
Tico had problems early on in his carear with Bon Jovi. His wife divorced him during the band's early stages and that must have been hard for him. He said that the band could have split at that time, but they didn't and I'm very glad they didn't.
Then there's Hugh. He's never photographed and is often overlooked, but he's still as much a part of the band as the others. He seems to be content with his role even though he deserves more credit.

Actually, I think you are right. Everyone I know that met him said the exact same thing. They couldn't get over how down to earth he truly is.

QL cd??? Wow, that must be cool. I remember him singing Imagine in the episode The Leap Home and thinking he was quite good.. wish they'd show some repeats of that show.. except the last one..
