I admire people who inspire me to be what i want to be, or encourage me so much that i believe i can do anything...or they just really kick ass

1) Tim Burton; my all time favorite director, with his own style and unique visions inspires me to want to make my own stories come to life on the big screen. and i'm not afraid to do what i feel is right, and go against commercialism....and i hope once i finish film school and begin making my movies, that i'll be reconised as a someone telling a story in a unique way; different from the norm...Tim Burton has definitly inspired me with the way i think about my movies i'm going to make in the future (aren't i optimistic :P )

2) Bon Jovi, of course; my all time favorite band, who inspires some of my stories, which will someday be movies

3) Robb Armstrong, public speaker about pursuing your dreams who is also the cartoonist of the comic strip Jump Start; His speech is amazing...his humor and his drama combined together creates a well mixed concotion to get you back on your feet and begin toward your dream again. His whole life story is heart felt and inspiring at the same time. When he was an aspiring cartoonist at a young age, some people didn't think he'd make it (except for his mother (if you know who i'm talking about, you'll laugh - right, Reincarnation?), which is exactly how i felt some people felt about me wanting to be a film director (they just nod their head with a fake smile and say, "oh, that's nice" ) -- I can't explain his whole speech, but the main aspects of it were that to never give up on your dream, or you'll slide downhill and have a one hell of a time trying to get back up.

without all 3 of these, i wouldn't have the desire in me to pursue my dreams -- for this i must thank all of them. :P

I couldnt have said it any better! He was very inspirational.

[Captain] Sean Raynak: He is a major influence in my life at this moment. He switched majors in his junior year of college to go off and do what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Many people don't have the courage to quit an enginnering major to move into the career of busniess, and to then make it successful. Then to volunteer to become an advisor for young people interested in business during a full week - away from his home, his family, his business - (not getting paid either) is outstounding. I will forever remember his kidness, helpful insite, and astounding capability to not crumble under the pressure of helping push along a company. I will forever remember and love him.

I also admire my boyfriend. He's off at college in another state, six hours away, and he's making his path in the world. He's off alone, in an apartment complex with roomates that sleep most of the day and stay up late playing computer games. Even though some of the classes are challenging, he sticks with it. Even though he's away from his family, he stays there. Even when he's apart from the things he loves most, he's still strong and works hard to make his dream in life come true.

I will also forever admire the average people that you pass on the sidewalks, buy your food from, drive past, sit in school with, or even see at the movies. I admire them because you never know what heroic thing they will do. If someone jumped in front of a car to save someone else, thats a hero. If someone risked their life to save another, that's a hero. When someone gives you a pencil to use on this major test, that's a hero. You never know when people will get you out of tough spots and help defend you when you have your back against the wall. When the average people do acts of courage, it's when I admire them. They all have my respect (unless they give me a reason to take it away). Thank you everyone for everything you do, because I am sure that every one of you has made one once of difference in someone elses life. Even if it was the most tiny of differences, for that brief second you helped someone else. Thank you.
