^ I'm not as confident. I didn't expect Porto to get battered but I thought we'd run out winners either 1-0 or 2-0.

As it stands, Porto know United need to score and if United play the next 90mins against them like they did in the second half of this game, I think they'll have a chance but they're noticeably struggling for form at the moment and other teams are very aware of that. It's a funny old game!

I hope they get a little bit of their urgency and composure back and that way we'll probably edge it next week 2-1. It's gonna be a nail-biter though! I just don't think United were expecting Porto to come flying out of the blocks in the first leg away from home. Credit to them though, I thought they played brilliantly and I was already praying for the half-time whistle about 10mins into the game!

I'm telling ya, once a team attacks United, they struggle!

We did it, Fulham did it, Villa did it until about 70 mins and Porto done it!

Well, I'm not sure it's as straight forward as that as it's not like no team attacked United once when they went on their unbeaten clean-sheet run recently. I think they are just really unsettled at the back with the injuries and suspensions they've had, they've lost confidence and when teams focus on putting the ball in the space Ronaldo vacates when he runs forward, there's always going to be trouble as the lazy f*ck never tracks back!

Personally, I think that as a winger, if you're not going back and forth up the wing both for attacking and defending, you're not a good winger and for all his ability and trickery, Ronaldo doesn't fulfil his role in the squad well enough. He should be used as an additional forward and leave the right/left midfield duties to someone who actually knows how to operate properly in those positions. That's the second time in as many games where he has given the ball away in the middle of the pitch, not tracked back and they've scored from it.

Scholes is past it, Neville's past it and there's just no pace in the team any more which is also why I said at the time and I'll continue to say it, Berbatov was a waste of money - he's as lazy as Ronaldo is and is far too easily dispossessed which leaves supporting players stranded out of position.

They need to solve the problem fast and if that means leaving boy-wonder on the bench till he starts playing for the team a little more, so be it. He's been dismal this season even if he is sitting second in the goal-scoring charts. One look at how the Old Trafford crowd responds to Rooney and Tevez and he should be ashamed of the little effort he puts in in comparison.

You have a point but, I still do think that once you attack United, anything can happen. Teams are afraid to attack but lately, more and more are doing it and getting results. Maybe it is to do with bad defence, Ronaldo not tracking back etc.... but I'm happy teams are noticing it.

NOOOOOOOOOOO! Lahm is injured. This is terrible news. Bayern will play with its C-defense. That sucks big time. If there's one defender who could put it up with Messi then it's Lahm. I don't know how Bayern will play but there couldn't have been a worse moment for this game to take place. Lucio, Lahm and Klose can't just be replaced by Bayern and this will have severe consequences. I just hope we won't get trashed. Also, Bayern will play with the 2nd goalie. It's just ****ed up...

Sorry to hear about that mate. As funny as it sounds, sometimes this makes the team play better.

If Bayern wins, I pay you a pint for each goal they score in both games

I'm just pissed off because I have to watch it on my computer. I can't find a single pub where I live to show it. Bloody UK. Any of you have experiences with the UEFA website? Are they reliable, in case nothing free pops up.

my God...it's worse than I thought. It hurts really. If we get away with four i think I should be happy. It should be 3-0 for Barca by now.You can't put LELL against Messi. It's just different classes...why did Lahm have to get injured today??? Damn it!

Well, this is it for Bayern this season.
