Well, I'm not sure it's as straight forward as that as it's not like no team attacked United once when they went on their unbeaten clean-sheet run recently. Personally, I think that as a winger, if you're not going back and forth up the wing both for attacking and defending, you're not a good winger and for all his ability and trickery, Ronaldo doesn't fulfil his role in the squad well enough. He should be used as an additional forward and leave the right/left midfield duties to someone who actually knows how to operate properly in those positions. That's the second time in as many games where he has given the ball away in the middle of the pitch, not tracked back and they've scored from it.

Scholes is past it, Neville's past it and there's just no pace in the team any more which is also why I said at the time and I'll continue to say it, Berbatov was a waste of money - he's as lazy as Ronaldo is and is far too easily dispossessed which leaves supporting players stranded out of position.

They need to solve the problem fast and if that means leaving boy-wonder on the bench till he starts playing for the team a little more, so be it. He's been dismal this season even if he is sitting second in the goal-scoring charts. One look at how the Old Trafford crowd responds to Rooney and Tevez and he should be ashamed of the little effort he puts in in comparison.
