The pressure has been off Liverpool up until they beat Man City on Sunday. They were admired but now they are feared. It's up to them how they react to the pressure but I think the team spirit is great and Rodgers won't let them slack off. The neutrals want Liverpool to win it and hopefully that extra bit of will can push them over the finish line. Chelsea will be tough and will try to park the bus but Liverpool will find a way around that.

I think that's the worst thing Chelsea can do. With Henderson out, our work horse is gone. He is the player who is doing the running for Gerrard whilst Gerrard is staying a bit back and almost playing like Xabi Alonso.

After Gerrard's huddle talk after the game yesterday, I don't think anyone will slack off. They all look hungry!

Mourinho is strange at times. Maybe at this stage of the season he knows Chelsea need to take points from Liverpool and just go all out or he might want to save face and go with a draw or play defensive and try to scrape a win.

Yeah they look really up for it. If they've got that on the pitch then Rodgers job is made so much easier.

Yeah, Chelsea are a really hard team to break down, though. Whether they sit back or not. Thankfully, so far, they don't have the best attacking line. Can almost guarantee that will change when they come to Anfield

I also don't think our defence is as bad as people make out. Set pieces we are really poor, we just cannot defend them and have never been able too. Apart from that, I actually think we have a pretty strong defence. Sakho is a great replacement for Agger. He isn't as good on the ball as Agger but he puts in some vital tackles. Skrtel has been excellent this season, just wish he would stop dragging people in the box or handballing!!

Man City dropped two more points tonight. Looks like they're bottling the race.

Liverpool need 2 wins now. They can even afford to draw with Chelsea.

What have Man Utd fans got to say now? No more smug self satisfied "In Moyes we trust" or "We stick by our managers" rhetoric I assume

I predicted Moyes would have been sacked by February when he signed up. I wasn't too far out.

He knew his time was up on Saturday.

This interview from UTD Supporters' Trust is interesting:

Still, as an Arsenal fan, I'm gutted. I was hoping he'd stay for at least 25 years. He's brought lots of goals & action to every match.....just happened to be at the wrong end

As an Arsenal fan, surely you should be asking what of Wenger's future if Everton pip them to 4th?

It's all Arsenal have managed since 2005 as a realistic goal come the end of the season. Moyes went after it became mathematically impossible for United to reach next season's CL. Given that this is also a minimum requirement at the Emirates, I imagine Wenger might be looking cautiously over his shoulder right about now.
