Rodgers needs to work his magic in these next two games. Palace should be fine, but Spurs are not going to be easy. Its City's to lose but when was the last time 3 teams were within a shout at this point of the season. Possibly the most interesting Premier League in its 21 years of existence.
Liverpool play Newcastle last game of the season.

I can see it being Liverpool 10-0 Newcastle.

Pretty much all hope is gone, unfortunately.

It's ironic that Gerrard did his speech about not slipping up and then he goes and does it and possibly costs us the title

In all seriousness, Chelsea did what they have been doing for a few seasons against teams and sat back and hoped that we would slip up and they go on the attack and it worked. That doesn't make Mourinho a great manager, though. Everyone is saying he is after that game but I don't think that's being a good manager at all. I could manage any team to put 11 men behind the ball. Which they did do. Plenty of clips prove this.

With Newcastle getting beat 2-0 now, Everton wont go out against City. They wont do it at all. All we can hope for is the other two teams to make sure City drop points and we win ours.

It's about discipline though. You're right, anyone can tell his team to get all 11 men behind the ball, but getting them to stick to it and defend as solidly as they did is not an easy task at all, especially against an attack as good as Liverpool's this season. Managers are judged on their results. If a manager wins the big games and wins league titles and trophies he's a great manager.

I'm not denying he is a great manager overall, but the praise he has been getting for that game is a bit OTT in my opinion. Maybe it's just me being bitter.

Well yeah, it is a little OTT. But shutting out Liverpool like that isn't easy, he got his tactics absolutely spot on to win an incredibly tough game.

Our season ended in January when we reached 40 points and sold Cabaye. He was always gonna leave and a replacement was needed but nothing happened. Our best player is on loan from a Championship club.

We will go down next season. The club's a mess and supporters have been beaten into submission because there is no hope, no fight, no nothing.

If you're an outsider it mightn't seem that bad but the state of Newcastle United is, quite frankly, a disgrace and every day is just a nightmare to be honest.

I've always said that one day I hope we don't get 4th....coz maybe then our ambitions can change. Majority of fans agree. It's the Board that see it as a Trophy. This is what happens when Clubs are run by people who don't know a thing or 2 about the Sport.

.
Must have been a monster party last night to celebrate "St Totteringham's Day"?????
You keep that 4th place trophy nicely polished.........

Well Liverpool have well and truly bottled it. The Palace game must have felt like a nightmare to their fans. I think at 0-3 they should have sat back and defended but the goal difference factor made them push on. It was like they forgot how to defend in the last twenty minutes.

It's a shame. They play nice attacking football and it'd be good to see another team win it but they've crumbled at this crucial late stage. Can they come back next season against stronger Chelsea and Man Utd teams? If Suarez leaves there's not much chance.

I don't think we've bottled it, I think we just can't defend. It's been the case all season. Yesterday was just a disgrace. I was happy for us to keep going on for the goal difference because the game should have been put to bed in the first half anyway. We missed so many opportunities and I actually had a feeling it was going to be 'one of those games.'

I think Rodgers went wrong by not bringing on a defender, though. I mean, we had Suarez who almost puked in the warm up, we had Lucas who was doing bugger all and he goes and takes of Sterling who was making some good runs and assisting and Sturridge. Yeah, Sturridge wasn't 100% fit so I can see the logic in that one but I still don't know why he brought Moses on.

Toure and Agger are two great defenders to have on the bench. Toure for the first few games was our leader at the back. He was organizing the defence in the same way that Carragher was and one thing we needed last night was a leader at the back.

It is not over. I know it can go down to the last day and City HAVE to lose but an upset can be on the cards. No-one expected that sort of game yesterday. Let's see what Sunday has to offer.
