I'm sorry, that list nauseated me.

If you're looking for slightly humorous political essays, I posted one a few pages back, called something like "Why Isn't Kerry Way Ahead?" Check it out if don't mind balancing your intake of extreme leftist media.

Your idea of "extreme leftist media" nauseates me. You really should do some _real_ research on different political ideals before naming someone one thing or the other, 'cause it seems your ideas are pretty badly mixed.

Well, since the Socialist and Communist parties have pretty much fallen apart (thank God!) the Democrats now represent the farthest left viable political party in the country. The Republicans are pretty much dead center (no, they're not the wild-eyed conservatives the left wants to portray them as), and the the Libertarians are the farthest right (now if only we could do something about their viablility...). Given that the media is absolutely dominated by Bush and Kerry fans, with little attention given to the "real" right (little attention IF they're lucky, if they're not they get blacklisted as right-wing black-helicopter conspiracy-nuts), and the fact that Democrat party ideals (as well as some Republican ideals) match those of the early 20th century Socialist party, I have no problem deriding Michael Moore and his ilk as the extreme left of American political media. He's not "extremely" left when compared to the politicians in the glory days of Russia or Red China, but he's about as left as we've got (that's being heard).

My problem with it is I just don't want to live in a communistic (or socialist democracy as one of its variations has recently been named) society. If others want to, good for them, I don't expect them to force it on me. Communism of any kind inevitable squelches some if not most freedom, and I value my freedom too highly for that. If someone set up a little communist country that actually worked and didn't turn into another Cuba, China, Russia, that actually promoted personal freedom, heck, I might even think about joining. But until then, every communist, socialist, or variation thereof can leave me out of their plans.
