Default Why do men need to ....

get drunk when they watch something on tv, rugby match, or football, at home, with friends, in a pub or whatever ..... I don't understand !

i was talking with a friend on msn this morning, he told me he was so drunk yesterday after Australia/Ireland, each wall in Sydney was a danger, and i must say during and after every match he is like that, and he's not the only one, more when the Wallabies play of course ! I thought it was exactly when your favourite team plays you try to follow the match, if you're drunk, you can't follow and .... you don't even remember what's happened !!!! i saw a friend this morning, he told me he was on his way to meet some of his mates in a pub to watch NZ/Wales, ok, he's english but ... it's the morning, we're in France, and england wasn't playing !!!
So it's a man's thing, and i can't understand or what ?

most games of football i watch r in the pub so that would explain alot of why i drink.

i can and do watch without drinking sometimes but unless u get totally wasted u can still follow the game.

only time ive not remembered the result of a game was when me and a mate were supposed to be watchign an american football match but decided the rangers game was more appealign so ended up in a pub we didnt know beside hampden park 9where the american football is) rangers were playing dundee united and we ended up getting completely rattled and i lost count of the score but when rangers 1st scored we were the only 2 that started cheering and i reckoned it probably wasnt the best of places to be watchign that match but suffice to say nothing bad happened to us. that i remember.

now onto important things. why do women feel compelled to buy anythign everytime they walk past a shop?
