its an ongoing joke between my girlfriend and me that anytime we meet a great guy (or so we think) we immediately call him gay (obviously just between the two of us).

Seriously though, I realize there are some good guys out there, but like Kathleen suggested, really good guys get married pretty early in their life or are with the same girl forever.

On the other hand, I married a, what seemed, a really good guy. He turned out to be a bit psycho afterall and to this day, my family thinks he is the best guy around. The truth is that he is indeed a great guy, just not great in a relationship. If you know what I mean. So, I think that is the key - some guys seem to be so great, but because they are either married, gay or dead, there is no way to find out if he indeed is so great once you entered a relationship with him. Hence, there are no great guys.

That’s just because you don’t know me!
I’m Joking…no seriously I think what RS8MBOR8 said is right. Sometimes you girls have really complicated tastes and expectations from a relationship.

I think there’s a lot of good guys out there, and even good girls…Maybe sometimes we’re searching in the wrong places…..searching….is not the right way to find someone.
I think random meetings are always the best.

I want to tell you my story: I’m in love today with the first girl I fell in love when I was 8!!! We were at school together and I completely drove crazy for her (I gave her also a silver ring for Christmas...I was a very romantic child). But I was just a good friend for her (and you could say..”what the hell do you expect from a 8 years old girl?”), and this hurted me so much.

Then she moved with her family in another town near mine but I haven’t seen her for 16 years, until October 2001….just a random meeting one Sunday morning and then nothing for 2 months.
One December evening I was reading this Coehlo’s book about a child love and she came in my mind….I send her one Christmas card with my telephone number and now we’re together since 1st January 2002.

Sometimes You can drive for a million miles on thousands streets just to end up where your trip has begun.

Personally, I prefer guys of my own ages or a little bit older, that means they must be in 30-40.
