Because we don't allow links to Ebay.

Must have missed it. Peter created the rules. Don't blame the messengers.

But what's wrong with links to Ebay then?

Do you want the board littered with links to Ebay posted by Bon Jovi fans who want to sell their stuff (Bon Jovi or otherwise) or non Jovi fans who see this as a good place to advertize their Jovi stuff for sale? It's easy to post something on Ebay and then go to a Jovi site and say, "Check out this item" just to draw interest to it.

I'm sure everyone here can understand that, but I don't see the problem with posting funny things like that one Russ posted, or other silly ones. If someone does post a "here's my stuff, buy it" one it would be obvious and should be deleted, but not funny ones.

I have to agree.

Or, the link in the other thread that went through the cracks unnoticed --- it was a great link and sparked discussion --- something we all like

(and nobody is shooting anybody :P)
