evenin all. prague was great. an absolutely gorgeous city. not as seedy or dirty as i was expecting.

the people were pretty nice in general and it was dirt cheap i was a bit disappointed with the lager as the pilsner urquell that every where sold was pretty bland but for 50p a pint i shant complain

lap dances are more expensive than glasgow but you can touch (not that i would be involved with any of that carry on of course)

i didn't see one hooker which kinda surprised me but im sure it wouldn't be too hard to find them if i wanted to.

absolutely gorgeous architecture. nicest ive ever seen to be honest.

brilliant place and although we went through a power of drink, we still managed to see everything we wanted to and took in a bit of culture.

lovely place, if any of you ever get a chance to see the place you definetely should.

next ont he tour intinery is egypt in the summer hopefully. thats the big one. im keen to get back to london soon and maybe bergen if the moneys good and some of my mates r talking about paris for the sxotland match when it rolls around but im not sure about that. and anothermate asked if i want to go to the munich beer frestival in october.

i wont get all of them done but if i can do egypt and one or two more ill be happy.

i was going to book egypt last week n then my mate phoned about prague and ive just bought a laptop so funds r gettinga bit stretched but im trying to stay off the drink so i should be able to book up soon.

the architecture in prague is stunning. seriously i mean glasgows got some great architecture but just about every building there is a work of art. the old qaurter is gorgeous and very gothic and everywhere still has that hint of soviet bloc-ism about it.

ive never been to paris no. my sis used to go quite alot when she worked for disney and got free passes for euro disney but i didnt really feel like playing gooseberry to her with her boyfriend and my bro with his missus.

i'm not entirely sure i'd like paris. she doesnt reckon i would. i know a handful of people who have went and have all enjoyed it but theyve all went with partners n since i dont plan on being attached any time soon i doubt ill be gettiong dragged there.

JBJ's useless Paris trivia: the boulevards are so wide because back in the day iot was easier for the cavalry to charge down them en masse if there was any riotsor civil unrest.

You are so funny Jim!!! It wasn't too long ago that I read a post of yours in which you said you didn't feel the need to see other places in Europe as you are already familiar with the architecture old stuff or however you phrased it.

Now I want to go too....

Yup, reading books and articles is good. Real life experience is better.

im a walking contradiction.

i went to prague for the cheap beer and titty bars, that doesnt mean i cant at leasat be a little cultured

there was a history of communism event at some museum i wouldngt have minded seeing but we only had a few days, no real clue where it was and we couldn't afford not to spend most of our time in the pub

we actually ended up in a gay bar by accident at one point. we were there for about 2 hours then my mate just stopped mid sentence n went, look at everyone in here i think this is a gay pub... i looked round to see all coupled guys, skin heads, dressed like jean paul gautier models and just as he said that a dude with a berret and a totally gay little french poodle walked in lol. im comfortable enough in my sexuality that we stayed for another coupla hours cos it was 50p a pint

we wound up in a really dodgy casino with your token mafia goons hanging around and the 1st spin of the roulette whell landed on OO, we quickly got out of that one too.

your friend still planning on coming to scotland maria?

No, she didn't have anybody to come along her idiot boyfriend broke up with her just a little before her birthday (which she wanted to schedule the trip for).

I am looking at where to go in the summer. I'll be in Germany for about 3.5 weeks and have NO intention of spending all this money to sit in my mothers kitchen the entire time. So, it is either Italy or London and then making my way up to Scotland How long would that take? By car - I'd assume - me driving (flying into london of course)
