Default World footballer of the year

1. Zidane
2. Thiery Henry
3. Ronaldo

I dont know how two real madrid players made the top three when they didnt even get to the champions league final. I reckon it should have been Henry and then Van nistelroy

zinedine zidane would get the award even if he was out all season with a broken leg. henry has been great again. i wouldn't have put van nistelrooy in there. a more fitting choice for third place should probably have been raul, who is consistently excellent yet never seems to gain any recognition.

Ronaldo is weird choice yes. But why on earth would there be two players from Premier league when none of the permier teams were at the final stage of champions league

I think Alessandro Nesta should have been there. Milan won the champions league if you remember...

I think that Zinedine Zidane is the best player in the world right now. He can create chances to others and he can also score goals. Also he is quite good at defending on the midfield considering that he is an attacking midfilder.

Best TEAMS usually play in the finals, not the best players.

I do not understand why they "forget" defenders in these kind of polls. It's a shame.
