Wow, this is tough. I guess this is one of those situations where you can't say yes or no and know that's whta you would actually do...

But I guess I'd adopt a child with AIDS if I got to know him / her and grew fond of him / her. Would I do it out of the blue without seeing the child? I don't think so Saying yes is very nice but a child with Aids involves hard work and a hard time.
