I don't wear wristbands. If I'm going to give money to charity, I'll do it because I want to be generous, not because I want to be recognized for it. On the other hand, I doubt many people buy them to give money to charity, they just want to look "cool."

guilty as charged but it's for a good cause so why not? its marketing genius to be fair especially the livestrong one.

at one point the only place you could get a hold of them here was in topman.

I agree. It brings in a ton more money than the cause alone.

I sometimes wear 'the one' one.

My son has a collection..........

(and I seem to like guys that wear them... )

I think my rationale was that guys that buy/wear them are emotionally connected, sensitive, caring and not afraid to show it. But since all of you just do it for looks, I might be WAY off.... (as usual)

on the other hand, it shows that we're fashion concious and bothered about our appearance

i think i might be getting a bit tooooooo fashion concious. i was out last night and said to my bro: thank **** i didnt wear that t shirt i bought the other day cause a guy over there is wearing it.

whilst he's standing with his uncombed hair, big pervert jacket and dodgy trainers we all give him abuse for wearing.

I've got a white 'Make Povery History" one, a black "Rock = Life" one, and a black Slash one for "Whatever it takes". I don't wear all of them all the time though, in fact, I hardly ever know the location of any of them. I'll admit, when I do tend to wear them, I also put loads of other bracelets on, but I wouldn't say I use them as a fashion accessory

they are either under the bed or under the sofa sometimes they are in the car under the seats

then why you do it? Surely you think it looks good and hence it becomes a fashion accessory.
