The government did not sponsor JFK's death. I don't think the government hires people to kill their own civilians.

Has no-one even seen James Bond: Tommorow Never Dies?

In the movie, media mogul Elliot Carver creates stealth ship, and uses it to fire missiles at UK and Chinese ships at the same time; this leads both countires to believe they are under attack.

This starts a battle, and Carver gets full coverage for his tv and newspapers.

I'm not saying the Twin Towers event was set up, but the war with Irag was pretty much made up by the government, but it has meant that neither George Bush or Tony Blair will be elected again.

That film isn't a documentary

Concerning the Princess Di.... It seems odd that the driver was doing 120 MPH (thats roughly 192 kph for u Europeans) through a tunnel.

oh yeah:

No Stopping the Dixie Chicks
The furor over remarks made about Pres. Bush hasn't kept fans away from the top-grossing tour.

Hehe

JFK wasn't a documentary??? Seemed pretty accurate though!

Princess Di is definitely a conspiracy.. apparently she was alive after the crash, but the ambulance took forever to get to the hospital and she died..

I don't thinks theres much they can do to save someone who has been in a car that hit a concrete wall at 192 kph though

While the government is highly questionable and Bush's team of warmongers are the most questionable of all, I think the intelligence communities failures are to blame for 9/11. I don't think the government is on the up & up about things with the public but I don't believe they ordered the mass destruction of the buildings, all those people, the economy...
Americans, I think, for the most part, are of the live & let live variety.
If you don't mess with you, we don't care how you live your lives.
Now, i'm not talking about the GOVERNMENT's involvement in other countries, disputes, etc. And I'm not talking about religious zealots to think their particular brand of God-loving crazy is the only way to heaven and need you to follow their doctrines. I think your average American citizen wants to live a relatively normal, healthy life and be left to do so on their own. And they want other people to do the same.

JFK is a mystery. Lots of theories. Lots of movies. Let's not entirely throw all our weight into an Oliver Stone movie.

Diana's death is sad. I don't think the royal family had anything to do with it. I think the paparazzi are a nuisance but the blame is on the drunk driver and the ego-eccentric father who allowed his drunk chauffeur to be at the wheel (and whose shrine to his son & diana in a retail store is odd me thinks.)

I think the survey from Germany was obviously done to get a headline. Let's not accuse just the US media of propaganda. This is Germany.
1000 people is not a good sample. And just because 333.3 of them are morons, that doesn't mean the rest of the country is! There's two reasons possibly for this coverage: 1) US media trying to flame the anti-France, anti-Germany stance they'd like the American public to take presuming their impressionable sheep or 2) An attempt to discuss how the rest of the world regards the US - though it's a poorly put together attempt to address what is a real issue. Has about enough credibility as Bravo magazine covering the topic.

Yes - I believe there is a report out today, or yesterday that supports a failure by the FBI, CIA etc....

This was reported on my local radio station, so I don't have any more details than this.

No, you're right. It's the top headlines in the papers/news here in the U.S.
There were significant errors, oversights and missed clues that could have avoided the 9/11 attacks. It's normal and justified to question one's government and we have that luxury in most of our countries however, there's a fine line between questioning motives and actions versus accusing them of mass murder on that level to reach their own ends at the expense of the entire nation and the world's security. I'd like to believe that civilized nations with intelligent leaders don't dwell in the fantasy land that is better left for videogames.

As for the Dixie Chicks, they were dead right.

As for Diana being alive. Yes, the ambulances were delayed in getting to the hospital.. could she have been saved? Perhaps. Was that a conspiracy? I don't think so. I think it was poor form on the part of the Paris ambulance squad. Stupidity and piss-poor emergency medical attention still doesn't make it a conspiracy.
