i really the mafia did in jfk and as a result lee harvey oswald. gangsters are very powerful people and are involved in alot more things than people would like to think or know.

diana's driver was drunk, driving thru heavy traffic at night at in idiotic speed, that's not a conspiracy thats just sheer stupidity. ambul;ances take time to get to places especially iun the centre of cities, what would the french health service gain from waiting for a while when she was in the car?

and just call me an old cynic, but maybe just maybe, some crazy Arabs thought "hey we don't like the west because of how they;ve treated us, lets get them back" plain and simple motive, no conspiracies, no US government involvement.

i dunno sometimes i think people look into things too much and miss the obvious.

think of the logistics of the US government actually having anything to do with it.

they'd have to decide which buildings to hit. putting planes into the pentagon, the heart of it's financial sector and intending one for the white house aren't exactly the choices i'd pick. they cud have done damage elsewhere with less loss of life and alot less hassle for the government ie having to rebuild the things, the economy going to shit etc...

they'd have to get people actually willing to do it. think about it, ur sitting in a bar and some guys in suits come upto you and say hey we want you to fly a plane into a building. watch me jump at the opportunity.

the whole thing would mean everyone from the military to central government right down to the air traffic controllers as you pointed out, would have to be in on it.

I doubt the "commercial face" (for want of a better word) had much to do with it (if it was indeed planned from within the States)

anyone watch 24?

obviously thats fictional, but its the same kind of situation

but the planting of a nuclear device inside America by a commando group commanded by Generals that want to 'teach the arabs' a lesson but infact they themselves controlled by some very very rich + powerful people only interested in the price of oil is a very believable situation

just like the people with the power in this country aren the government, its the policy/decision makes, those members of the civil service that have been in the job for half a century

the oil theories total bullshit for going to war with iraq too. if we wanted why would we have to fly planes into our buildings to go and get it? there's alot easier and more civil ways to swing public opinion.

anyways the point i;m trying to make is that the world is watching and the US and UK know that theres no way they'll just be able to take all the oil they want from iraq. maybe just maybe the allies just aren't content to sit around and let people like saddam huessien reign free anymore whereas most of the world is?

you can;t fight everyone in the same day hence y korea etc/// didn;t get it but the US is sending troops over to africa to calm things down over there and y/ because the world expects it of them and its the right thing to do not because they want to line their pockets.
